I’ll keep this short because I’m not one to drag things on. But I do believe a quick intro is in order so you know why you might want to keep coming back.

So, who am I?

First things first, I’m Liviu—a programmer with 7 years in the field and a PhD researcher (just finished year two and hoping the third will be the final boss fight).

On my programming journey, I’ve tackled a variety of challenges: operating systems, blockchain smart contracts, embedded devices, web portals, and more. Each project has been its own checkpoint—some tougher than others—but all have helped me level up my skills.

As for my PhD, I had to set down the coding sword a bit and pick up the writer’s pen (or, you know, keyboard). Writing scientific papers requires a different kind of focus, but my coding experience has definitely been a powerful ally in getting me through.

My Main Mission

There are a few key reasons why I’m doing this. The biggest—and for me, the most important—is to help people. Help can take many forms, but here, it’ll come in the shape of programming guides, self-help potions, and opinion spells on different subjects from the industry. Over the years, I’ve gathered a lot of skills and insights, and I truly believe that sharing them can help others—maybe even you—reach their goals (or dreams). I’ll focus on exploring new technologies, offering coding insights, sharing tips and tricks, and walking you through parts of my PhD journey. My hope is that you, the reader, will find value here and enjoy this content as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

A Bit More About Me

When I’m not coding, you’ll find me reading books or playing games on my PS (and sometimes my PC). My reading ranges from programming classics like Clean Code to the deeper, philosophical works of Dostoevsky. I’m always diving into something, whether it’s exploring the human soul or finding new ways to be disciplined. My motto? Simple: read, read, read—and then read some more. I’m also into sports—whether it’s weightlifting, running, or trying new routines. Staying active helps keep my mind sharp and focused, giving me the discipline to tackle challenges in both life and code.

Temporary Final Words

I’ll meet you here again on a weekly basis.
